BLE shield + PixyCam?

#1

Hey guys,
currently, I am in my internship semester and my project is to build a soccer playing robot. The microcontroller I am using is the Arduino Mega 2560. In order to give the robot vision I want to use a pixyCam. Moreover, the robot has to be able to communicate with a mobile phone. Therefore I need a BLE shield.

I thought that won’t be an issue but one of my colleges said that it actually is. He said that it could be a problem because both are working with SPI. In his opinion one sensor could block the other.

Personally, I think he is wrong and both will be slaves of the arduino (master)

What do you think?
