Unable to update DAPLINK

#1

Hi,

is there a special way to upload files to the BLE NANO V2?
I am unable to succeed in any drag and drop (or copy paste) upload into the BLE
nor the USB DAPLINK.
I tried the MAINTENANCE mode with the bin files in:

But those return a FAIL.TXT (The transfer timed out)… using SSD on i7…)
This is what is in the DAPLINK device:

oh and Redbear, please update your website with up to date info on the Nano V2, I had to search the
internet dark pages to get info since all available info on Redbear / Mbed is for the old V1.

I’m facing the exact same issue. Has Redbear addressed this?

I ran into this problem, and fixed it by copying the .bin file in the aforementioned link onto the DAPlink while the system was in MAINTENANCE mode. I found that downloading the .bin file using the web browser resulted in a corrupted .bin file, and the update did not work. I then tried doing a ‘git clone’ of the directory to obtain the .bin file, and that worked successfully. For good measure, I also burned the bootloader in the Arduino IDE in the normal mode of operation for the NanoV2 board.

Daplink v1.0 will not upload nRF52_EraseChip.hex

Thanks, what exactly should I expect to happen after copying the .bin file? When it was failing it would wait for a while then the windows explorer window would close. When I looked at the DAPLINK again I would see the FAIL.txt file. With the file cloned from github nothing seems to happen after I copy the .bin file onto the DAPLINK. Does this mean it was successful?

EDIT- nRF52_EraseChip.hex was also being corrupted when I tried to download. After cloning that and uploading through the DAPLINK I’m able to program the chip from Keil.
